Ulysseus is a dynamic European University alliance established to shape the university of the future by fostering innovation, inclusion, and sustainability across Europe. Founded in 2020 under the European Commission’s European Universities Initiative, Ulysseus brings together eight diverse institutions from across the continent:

University of Genoa (Italy)
Technical University of Košice (Slovakia)
MCI | The Entrepreneurial School (Austria)
Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (Finland)

The alliance aims to create a long-term, integrated transnational campus that enables students, researchers, and staff to move seamlessly across institutions. Ulysseus focuses on six Innovation Hubs that tackle major societal challenges, such as sustainable energy, digital transformation, health and wellbeing, and tourism. Through its interdisciplinary and intercultural approach, Ulysseus promotes lifelong learning, entrepreneurial mindsets, and strong ties with regional ecosystems, positioning itself as a leading driver of Europe's knowledge society.
